The TA-990 sets a new benchmark for PTToC fixed mount mobiles. The solid design incorporates a large front facing speaker for extra volume, large LCD display and icon-based menu for easy operation.
All the features required for heavy transport, agriculture, mining, construction and service industries have been incorporated into the TA-990 including GPS, SOS, Dual SIM and 4G LTE/GPS Antennas.

Features

Group Call (One to Many)

User can select pre-programmed groups and instigate a group call and talk to all members of the group. User can also be part of multiple groups and choose a primary group for transmission.

Individual Private Call (One to One)

User can select an individual radio or the dispatcher and perform a one on one private call outside the group.

Internal GPS Engine

The internal GPS engine reports its position every 60 seconds to the dispatcher (Programmable). GPS acquisition status is shown on the radio LCD display.

Monitor Groups

TA-990 has the ability to listen to other groups which can be quickly configured in the user-friendly GUI.

Adjustable Sound Quality

The TA-990 comes with several sound adjustments including speaker and microphone variable settings with the ability to choose between 4K and 8K voice.

Lock/Unlock Volume

To prevent accidental volume changes the volume knob can be locked to a single volume.

Dedicated SOS

A dedicated SOS button that when held in for 3 seconds sends an alert to all other units and an alert showing where the user is located on the Dispatcher’s map display.

Voice Recordings

The unit can have all the transmissions that are broadcasted or received recorded to the device. The recordings can be easily accessed through the user-friendly GUI.
